Just letting you know I’m no longer using this blog. I feel like a change, I guess.
I have started a new one however which you can find here. It’s a bit different. We have a monthly theme and I post a lot of images that bring that to me. Kind of like an aesthetic diary.
But more importantly I’ve started an official blog.
It’s 100% original content. Lot’s of reviews, musings, playlists etc.
So please go check out those links and such.

I discovered podcasts about 2 years after everyone else did. That said here is a list of my favourites.
1. Slate Audio Book Club: really really fantastic analysis of books by some really, really smart people. You’ll get a lot more out of them if you have already read the book they’re talking about, but it’s good either way. The highlight was the disscussion of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” where they invited on some 10 year olds (who talk like they’re 30) to talk about the in’s and out’s of the potter world. Fantastic.
2. Slate Culture Gabfest: Yet another Slate podcast (there is also a political gabfest) consisting of really smart people talking about really smart things. They disscuss a lot of cultural stories (from high end to low brow). My favorite was the “Oversimplification” episode, where they disscuss the Kony 2012 phenomenon.
3. Slate Spoiler Special: Sensing a pattern here? Fantastic disscussion of films. It’s called the spoiler special because they give away the entire plot. The analysis will leave you with a greater understanding for the film in question. Defiantly worth listening to.
4. Triple J Unearthed: A music podcasts dedicated to little known or unsigned Australian artists from all different genres.
5. Triple J Mark Fennell (that Movie guy): Tiny bite sized movie reviews. Great summary’s of films, good if deciding if you want to spend 15 dollars and 18 sense on a ticket.
